MBL Asset Management Limited is a subsidiary of Mercantile Bank Limited, obtained license from Bangladesh Securities & Exchange Commission (BSEC) to carry out the business as Asset Management Company, MBL Asset Management Limited intends to recruit dynamic,
energetic, result oriented and self motivated qualified individual for the following positions:
1. Name of the Position: Investment Analyst.
a. Number of Post: 01 b. Educational/ Professional Exposure:
⚫ Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting, Finance, Economics from a recognized educational institution. No third Division/Class in academic career will be acceptable.
c. Experience Requirements: • At least 05 years industry experience in asset management.
⚫Having at least 02 years experience as Investment Analyst in a reputed asset management company with proven track record. Experience may be relaxed for highly deserving candidates.
d. Job Responsibilities:
⚫The candidate must have analytical and effective decision making skill of company performance based on financial statements. • Excellent in various investment ideas, their analysis and decision making
⚫ Forecasting financial performance using statistical and mathematical model. * Preparing and presenting financial research summary
• Monitoring financial news and their impact of corporate product valuation,
Able to develop roadmap for Asset Management, Asset Management Product Initiation & Offerings and aware of related
technologies, marketing & legal compliances to become leader in marketplace. • Preparing research reports and presentation for both internal and external communication
• Execution of Asset Management Operation & decision making.
Ensuing that all the activities and operations are performed in compliance with related laws & regulations.
• Able to work under pressure and have ability & mindset to carry out assignments
Ability to deal with clients having positive approach.
e. Additional Job Requirements
⚫ Age maximum 45 years as on 30.09.2022. Age may be relaxed in case of highly deserving candidate

2. Name of the Position: Legal & Compliance Officer.
a Number of Post: 01
b. Educational/ Professional Exposure:
Post Graduation in any discipline from a recognized educational institution. No third Division/Class in academic career will be acceptable
⚫ Further academic qualification (e.g. LLB, LLM) will be given preference
c. Experience Requirements:
At least 05 years industry experience in asset management. ⚫ Having at least 03 years experience as Legal & Compliance Officer in a reputed asset management company with proven track
record. Experience may be relaxed for highly deserving candidates.
d. Job Responsibilities: • Able to develop roadmap for Asset Management, Asset Management Product Initiation & Offerings and aware of related
technologies, marketing & legal compliances to become leader in marketplace.
⚫Expected to extensive knowledge and skills to supervise and implement comprehensive compliance to ensure full compliance to
various regulatory requirements.
Supervising the reporting to various regulating authority like BSEC, DSE, CSE, ICB
Ensuing that all the activities and operations are performed in compliance with related laws & regulations. ⚫ Conversant with business related various laws, regulations, circulars and taxation.
• Must have conceptual and analytical thinking and proactive attitude.
• Able to work under pressure and have ability & mindset to carry out assignments.
•Ability to deal with clients having positive approach.
